I've always liked technology. AI made me more cautious than usual.
I'm not necessarily the first person to jump into something new, but I'm not afraid to experiment either.
AI made me more cautious than usual. Some of it seemed too good to be true, and it also seemed way too easy to get sucked in without really understanding what I was doing.
I work in healthcare. I wanted to protect my business and my patients, and I wanted to understand the technology well enough to use it thoughtfully. So I waited until I found an opportunity to get really good training.
That's where The Uncommon Business came in.

Want to know where to build your AI muscles?
The Uncommon Business has a new AI training coming up. It's not the same training I originally took, but based on my experience with TUB, I highly recommend checking it out.
And if you decide to register, I'd love it if you used my link below. TUB pays me a commission for people I refer, so you'll also be supporting the work I'm doing.
How I found this training and why I recommend it
I found TUB through another healthcare provider who was already using AI comfortably. Their training eventually led me to Automate to Accelerate (A2A), where I learned a foundation for thinking about AI in terms of roles, context, processes, and systems.
Honestly, this is probably the best training I have taken both personally and professionally. The organization does an amazing job, and they consistently share how they do it while balancing the human and technology side of things.
I took what I learned and started applying it to healthcare, my businesses, my own questions and problems, and whatever rabbit hole had my attention.
I learned how powerful AI can be when you properly learn how it works, then leverage it to help you solve the areas of friction in your daily life and challenge the assumptions you have. It has made me a better communicator, a better strategist, and a bigger thinker.

If you registered for the training through one of my links above, I'd love to send you my Tech for Your Health mini-course at no cost.
It's a great starting point for getting into AI with privacy and security in mind, so you can use it thoughtfully from day one.
